BPCM & ModusBPCM, is a leading brand strategy and communications agency in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel and technology industries, with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London,
announces the official launch of its Sustainability Division...

With the US marking its 20th anniversary and London celebrating 30 years, Agency partners Carrie Ellen Phillips, Vanessa von Bismarck , Ali Taekman  and Julian Vogel recognised the potential and critical need for these target industries to address sustainability in a direct and meaningful way.

“20 years on, we keep evolving and innovating and it is only fitting for BPCM to start this new chapter that will have a positive impact on the world and allows us to provide this much needed service to our clients,” says Vanessa von Bismarck.

Determined to encourage others to participate in a circular economy and focus on waste reduction, BPCM is the first strategic Luxury Lifestyle Communications Agency to launch a division dedicated to this issue. BPCM already services a number of trailblazing brands and organizations in the sustainability arena, including The Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Evrnu, Firewire Surfboards, Evolved By Nature, Paskho, Kelly Slater, Outerknown, ALDO, The Sustainable Angle and One Ocean Beauty. Phillips, who will lead the division from the New York office, is a passionate and prolific speaker and writer on the topic, as well as an advisor at Bard College’s MBA in Sustainability and concentration in the Circular Economy.

“We realize that this conversation can be daunting and our approach is to help clients figure out how to engage with topics like sustainability, the circular economy and ethical supply chain while staying true to their brand codes,” shared Phillips.  “BPCM’s specialization in sustainability grew naturally as we helped our clients figure out how to balance giving customers what they want while mitigating their impact on the planet.”

The new division’s primary focus is to advise and educate brands on how to incorporate sustainability into their DNA, platforms and supply chains. BPCM will hone messaging around sustainability-related efforts and goals, connect pioneering sustainable technologies with financing, and facilitate introductions to fashion, beauty, travel brands and purpose-driven sustainable organizations.

BPCM is committed to creating opportunities that improve the environmental impact of the fashion, beauty and travel industries. The agency is guiding companies to realize and set sustainability goals while maintaining growth and profitability, ultimately empowering consumers to realize their potential to instigate change.
