Do As The New Yorkers Do…

Our friends on the ground in New York give us the insiders guide on where to shop, eat, drink, stay and hang out over New York Fashion Week

The Mark Hotel

The Mark Hotel is a luxury hotel, originally constructed in 1927 in the Renaissance Revival style, the building was purchased by Izak Senbahar of Alexico Group and Simon Elias in 2006 and the building’s interiors were reimagined by French designer Jacques Grange in 2009.

The Mark Hotel is a firm favourite of our BPCM team, in addition to housing 100 hotel rooms and 56 suites, the building features a Jean Georges Vongerichten restaurant and bar, a Frédéric Fekkai salon, John Lobb shoe care services, and an exclusive scent by Federick Malle.

As the preeminent institution devoted to the art of the United States, the Whitney Museum of American Art presents the full range of twentieth-century and contemporary American art, with a special focus on works by living artists.

The Whitney is dedicated to collecting, preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting American art, and its collection—arguably the finest holding of twentieth-century American art in the world—is the Museum’s key resource. The Museum’s signature exhibition, the Biennial, is the country’s leading survey of the most recent developments in American art.

Emily West Village & Emily Brooklyn

35 Downing Street, New York, NY 10014

919 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Emily’s is a cosy, gourmet eatery serving wood-fired pizzas, rustic small plates & pastas. They strive to work with high quality and local products whenever available. Their food and beverage menus change with the seasons and as a result of the ongoing creative process of working to refine what they share with their customers.

Started by partners Emily and Matt, the restaurant has become a new favourite for our BPCM team in New York, who are obsessing over their pizzas and equally good burgers.

Top of The Standard

848 Washington Street, New York, NY 10014

With dramatic city views that turn magical at sundown, the glittering room of late-night lore is equally alive during Sunset Service. In the afternoon, the Top of The Standard welcome guests for tea and drinks amid spectacular sunlit views.

In the evening, live jazz music, a small-plate menu, and speciality cocktails turn the room into the city’s most sophisticated supper lounge. The dress code is smart casual attire focusing on well-tailored and fitted clothing with the appropriate footwear. Reservations strongly recommended.

The Apartment by The Line
