Featuring emerging and leading artists in film and video from Asia and supported by the Courtauld Institute, King’s College London, School of Oriental and African Studies, Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art and Art AV, Dreams, Illusions, Phantom Flowers explores the Buddhist concept of “duality” and looks at the differences between what we say and how we act, between how we present our lives and how it actually is.
Dreams, illusions, phantom Flowers will feature some of the most exciting film-makers in Asia today and promises to be a truly immersive experience. For anyone interested in film and the moving image, this promises to be a must-see event. For some of the works, this will be the first time they have been shown in the UK.
The show will be open to public from April 12th – 28th at Elephant West, 62 Wood Lane, London W12 7RH
