To commemorate the 20th anniversary, Shopbop will kick things off with the opening of their first-ever Shopbop Pop-Up, a global editorial campaign featured across all channels, as well as an exclusive twenty item capsule. Shopbop will debut The Twenty, an exclusive collection of 20 plucked-from-the-runway pieces from 20 leading designers. Featured names include Isabel Marant, Zimmermann, MSGM, ACNE, and Sandy Liang. Curated by Shopbop Fashion Director Caroline Maguire, The Twenty is made up of styles from the Fall 2019 collections and represents the season’s key trends.
Shopbop’s 20th anniversary celebration kicks off on September 5th with the launch of #StyleSupport, a campaign shot by photographer Clara Balzary and featuring a mix of of-the-moment tastemakers, creatives and models including Aiden Curtis, SASHA, and MaryV Benoit. Spotlighting style conversations, #StyleSupport pays homage to style-centric exchanges shared by friends daily, from “Do I wear heels or flats?” to “Do I need this bag?” to “The invite says dressy casual. Help.” Through engaging video, onsite features, and out-of-home collateral, the socially-geared campaign highlights the relatable dialogue passed between style confidantes.
On Thursday, September 5th, Shopbop will celebrate their 20th Anniversary and the opening of the first-ever Shopbop Pop-Up with a launch party for global editors, VIPs, influencers and brands in town for New York Fashion week. Guests will enjoy tunes by DJ and influencer Pamela Tick, cocktails by Jaja Tequilla and canapes by Rubirosa while taking part in activations throughout the pop-up space.
